Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa provides deluxe accommodations, superior dining options, and
plenty of leisure activities and amenities. Guests will enjoy deluxe accommodations at this Victorian-
style lakefront resort inspired by New York’s Saratoga Springs and the lure of horse racing. Saratoga
Springs is DVC’s largest property offering 1,320 rooms. I have often stayed here on last-minute trips as
usually, a room is available even on short notice.

This fine DVC property is currently in the midst of exciting interior or exterior renovation projects
scheduled to last from Fall 2019 to Fall 2021 which will make a stay at this resort even more impressive
once completed. Several buildings as of this writing have been completed. Improvements to resort
studios and villas include upgraded furnishings, renovated bathrooms, new carpeting and tile and
curtains. Unique lighting fixtures with Equestrian and Disney accents add to the enchantment and modern
décor.

There are plenty of things to do at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa when guests are not spending
time at the theme parks or water parks. Below are 15 suggestions of how to spend time at the resort to
keep everyone happy and entertained when not off-property park-hopping.

Saratoga Springs Resort Activities For Early Risers:

1) Start the day on a relaxing note with Sunrise Yoga located near the Congress Park Pool. Towels and
mats are provided for this 30-minute yoga class overlooking Disney Springs.
2) Rather play a round of golf. Hit the links and enjoy rolling greens at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf
Course. As a bonus, this award-winning on-site club-style course is set among an amazing wildlife
sanctuary.
3) Take a jog along either the 1.44-mile or 0.8-mile jogging trail, featuring scenic lake and golf views.
Looking for lively competition? Participate in the once-weekly Derby Dash Run and receive a medal for
completing the 1.25-mile trek.
4) Young anglers and more experienced fishermen will enjoy a Disney-guided bass fishing excursion.

Things To Do Throughout The Day:

5) Take a dip in one of the resort pools or whirlpool spas. The Paddock Pool has a 146-foot waterslide,
zero-depth entry, mini waterslides for kids, and a relaxing hot tub in the shape of a horseshoe. High Rock
Spring Pool has a zero-depth entry, cascading rock waterslides, bubbling geysers, and mini waterslides to
delight children. Three additional leisure pools with whirlpool spas are found throughout the resort
grounds. There’s also a Quiet Pool at Congress Park for guests looking for a more soothing environment.
6) Schedule a rejuvenating body treatment or soothing massage at Senses – A Disney Spa. A stop at the
fitness center will help keep your fitness goals on track.

7) Head over to the Community Hall for arts and crafts, video games, ping-pong, board games, and more.
“Win, Place or Show Arcade” is located near the High Rock Springs Pool and features new and classic
arcade games.
8) Rent a standard bicycle or larger Surrey-style bike from “Horsing Around Rentals” and take a joyful
spin around the lake and resort pathways. Adult and child-sized vehicles are available.
9) Play a round of tennis on the clay courts. Tennis balls and racquets are available for rent.
10) Perfect your long shot and practice your lay-up talents on the basketball court.
11) Kids will work off extra energy at one of three on-site playgrounds. Choose from a standard “dry”
playground or your choice of two other “wet” fun centers.

What To Do In The Evenings:

12) Head to the Turf Club Bar and Grill for a cocktail and dinner in a quiet, clubhouse setting.
13) As the sun sets, gather around the Sarasota Springs Campfire for pure, old-fashioned fun and
yummy roasted marshmallows
