2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is a spectacular annual Disney World Orlando culinary extravaganza with specialized dining, informative educational seminars, fun concerts and scrumptious tasting events. This is the 23^rd year for this exciting festival, so the powers that be at Disney have to be doing something right!  This year’s event takes place from August 30^th through November 12^th.  Spend a day wandering around the 2018 Epcot World Showcase with plated breakfasts, celebrity chefs, special food and wine pairings, grand tasting events and so much more.  It’s no wonder this Disney festival has become so popular over the past two decades and it’s not too late to start making plans to attend.

Global Marketplaces will showcase an abundance of international main plate choices as guests eat their way around the world via abundant culinary kiosks.  There’s certainly bound to be enough variety to satisfy any palate. The culinary kiosks offer smaller portions for less cost.  Averaging around $5 each you can sample plenty of great unique cuisine from a variety of countries.  Most kiosks also pair an adult cocktail or beer from the food’s same region making the day a little more interesting.  Plenty of vegan and gluten-free offerings will be available as well, keeping dietary plans on track.

Specialty wine and carefully crafted beer will be a large part of the festivities and guests will have ample opportunities to sample pairings from a generous selection of vineyards and breweries.  Dessert lovers can tickle their taste buds with a multitude of exquisitely prepared treats at smaller sizes to squeeze in more tastes.

Culinary demonstrations and educational events will be available for an additional charge. Plenty of live entertainment will be on deck compliments of the “Eat to the Beat” Concert Series at The American Gardens Theatre, nightly at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 pm.

This season’s line-up of performers includes Blue October, Tiffany, MercyMe, 98 Degrees, Tauren Wells, Baha Men, Living Color, Sheila E, Sugar Ray, Jeffrey Osbourne, Jim Belushi & The Sacred Hearts, Air Supply, 38 Special, Billy Ocean, Hanson, Boyz II Men and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy to name just a few of the top entertainers on tap to wow the crowds.
