It’s finally time for one of our favorite Disney holiday traditions, the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll! Every year, Disney designs custom Christmas trees inspired by stories from Disney properties. These trees are placed throughout Disney Springs for visitors to find and enjoy.
In the past, this event was called the Christmas Tree Trail, and all the trees were placed together in a single corner of Disney Springs. Visitors could walk through in a matter of minutes. Now, the trees are sprinkled throughout the entire Disney Springs property, and the Stroll serves as a kind of treasure hunt activity that’s completely free to participate in! This activity is only available until December 30th, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Another great addition to the Christmas Tree Stroll this year is their interactions with MagicBand+ bands! If you have a MagicBand+ on, simple wave your hand and you’ll see and hear a special interaction in some of the trees!
How To Start the 2024 Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll
If you just want to see the trees, you can simply show up to Disney Springs and start walking around, but if you wanted to complete the map activity, you’ll want pick up your activity map first. You can pick up your map from a few different locations:
- City Works Eatery & Pour House
- Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers
- Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company
- The LEGO Store
- The Luxury of Time by Diamonds International
We wanted to start the trail from the Cirque du Soleil side of Disney Springs, then make our way to the other end. City Works is the closest pickup location to Cirque du Soleil, but it didn’t open until 11am, and we arrived a little bit after 10. So, we ended up picking up our maps at The Luxury of Time by Diamonds International, and started the trail more towards the middle. It wasn’t a huge deal, but if you’re looking to save some steps, just be mindful of what time you’re arriving so you can park closer to a pickup location!
No matter where you start, you’ll still have a great time! For the purpose of this blog, we are going to start on the Cirque du Soleil side of Disney Springs, and end on the other side by the Earl of Sandwich!

Lion King Christmas Tree
The Lion King Christmas Tree is the first (depending on where you start) tree that you’ll see! It’s the closes tree to the Cirque du Soleil theater. This tree has Simba being held by Rafiki as the topper, and many African Savana-inspired items throughout the tree. You’ll also notice some of the masks from the Lion King Broadway show, which we thought was a nice touch.
Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Tree
The Guardians of the Galaxy tree is the next stop on our little stroll. It can be found across the House of Blues. It has Star-Lord’s helmet as the topper and includes many items inspired by the movies like headphones, cassette player, and of course Baby Groot!
Nightmare Before Christmas Tree
The next tree is the Nightmare Before Christmas tree! It can be found by the food trucks across from the Candy Cauldron. This one has Zero and his dog house as the tree topper, the classic silhouette of Jack and Sally, and many more small items from the movie!
Princess and the Frog Christmas Tree
Right next to the Nightmare Before Christmas Tree is the Princess and the Frog tree! This one is my personal favorite (my family is from Louisiana, so I’m biased). With a Fluer De Lis topper, mardi gras beads, musical instruments, and yummy food, it’s the perfect tree to represent The Princess and the Frog!
Wish Christmas Tree
The Wish Christmas Tree can be found behind Wetzel’s Pretzels near the bridge. It has Star on top, Valentino, Asha’s goat friend sticking his tongue out, along with other little whimsical additions like a log with cute little bunnies and mushrooms.
Moana 2 Christmas Tree
The Moana 2 Christmas Tree can be found directly in front of the AMC Theater (we see what you did there Disney). It has Hei Hei, Moana’s boat, sea creatures, and the Chiefs’ Stones as the tree topper.
Lilo & Stitch Christmas Tree
The Lilo and Stitch button is full of fun thanks to the surfboard topper, hawaiian shirts, bicycles, pineapples and even more! If you don’t have Hawaiin Rollercoaster Ride playing in your head while looking at this one, we’re not sure what’s wrong with you.
Sphere Christmas Tree
The Sphere Christmas Tree can be found right outside the Orange Parking Garage. TO be totally honest, we walked right by this one thinking it wasn’t part of the Stroll (we missed the very clear signs). Only after our second pass and looking at the map did we realize it was in the Stroll! It’s so pretty and VERY BIG.
Annual Passholder Christmas Tree
If you’re an Disney Annual Passholder, you won’t want to miss this one! The annual passholder tree can be found under the big brick awning near Johnston & Murphy.
Haunted Mansion Christmas Tree
Across from Fit2Run is the Haunted Mansion Christmas tree! If you use your MagicBand+, you’ll see Constance Hatchaway’s (also known as The Black Widow Bride) heart beat!
Coco Christmas Tree
The Coco Christmas Tree can be found behind D-Luxe Burger. It has some beautiful marigolds, instruments, and family photos are found throughout the tree.
Disney Treasure
Even though it’s not technically a tree, this beautiful Disney Treasure display is still a fun stop! It can be found near the guest services building.
Disney Town Center Christmas Tree
This tree is hard to miss, although we won’t judge you if you do! The Disney Town Center Christmas Tree is shockingly…in the town center area of Disney Springs.
Disney Parks Christmas Tree
Right in front of World of Disney is the Disney Parks Tree! It’s shows representations of all Disney Parks around the world.
Disney+ Christmas Tree
Directly next to the Disney Parks Christmas Tree is the Disney+ Tree! It shows items from Disney+ Shows like The Mandalorian, Doctor Who, Futurama and more!
Minnie and Mickey Mouse Christmas Tree
The Minnie and Mickey Mouse tree can be found between the T-Rex restaurant and LEGO store.
Toy Story Christmas Tree
The Toy Story Tree can be found outside the LEGO store. It has all of your favorite characters from the movies like Woody,. Buzz, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, and Slinky!
Star Wars Christmas Tree
The Star Wars Christmas Tree can be found on the other side of the LEGO store. It has C3PO as the topper, Kylo Ren’s lightsaber, Stormtrooper helmets and more!
World of Disney Christmas Tree
This one is slightly harder to find. It’s in a display window near the Encanto Tree. While it’s difficult to get clear photos of, it’s still very cute! When you tap your MagicBand+ to the window, you’ll see a magical display inside!
Encanto Christmas Tree
The beautiful Encanto Tree can be found on the far side of World of Disney! It has lovely Isabella-inspired flowers and the family doors!
Once Upon A Toy Christmas Tree
The final tree on our stroll is the Once Upon A Toy Christmas Tree! It’s right next to Earl of Sandwich. Now that we’ve taken quite a long walk around Disney Springs, and we’re ready for a sandwich!
Don’t forget to turn in your completed map after you’re finished for a special Ornament!
