Check out the all-new log cabin accommodations at Disney Vacation Club’s Copper Creek Villas and Cabins, located in the Fort Wilderness Resort (which is also being renamed).  Closely located to the Magic Kingdom area of Walt Disney World Orlando Resorts, these rustic, free-standing cabins are perfect for families looking for a quieter vacation experience.  Set in a private forest of pine and cypress trees, guests will get a real sense of the beauty and wonder of the great American frontier.  Cabins will be selectively placed along the water of Bay Lake as well as nestled under tall Florida trees.

Conveniently located and a quick ride away from all the theme parks, water parks, Downtown Disney dining and shopping, these spacious cabins have a distinctive Disney décor with a western flair.  Outfitted with a double bed and a bunk bed in the bedroom, plus a Murphy bed in the living room, there’s ample space for 6 guests.  Although you and your family will not be roughing it too much as each cabin is equipped with air conditioning, a full kitchen, bathroom with a tub and shower, plenty of seating, HDTV, and high-speed Wi-Fi. These quaint cabins in the woods offer all the comforts of home, but you’ll feel like you’re a million miles away.

Take advantage of the more relaxed pace of this DVC resort.  Hike along a shaded trail and look for rabbits, deer, and ducks wandering through their natural habitat.  Tour the woods in a horse-drawn wagon, let the kids get saddled up for a pony ride, rent a canoe, ride bicycles around, or play a game of basketball. There are even water ski and boating options on the waters of Bay Lake.  Remember summer camp?  Here you can also take a 90-minute archery class to perfect your aim for the coveted bull’s eye target range.  Afterward when everyone’s freshened up and ready for dinner, head over to Mickey’s Backyard BBQ for a lively hoedown, tasty BBQ fixins’ and dancing by beloved Disney characters.  The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a 2-hour frontier dinner show which is another exciting way to spend the evening.  Enjoy country-style cuisine, wild western singing, dancing, and comedy acts throughout your stay here.  No wilderness adventure would be complete without roasting marshmallows over the blazing campfire, and then use your Sky App to gaze up at the starry night sky and find constellations. Watch the Electrical Water Pageant as it floats along the shoreline of Bay Lake; a lovely end to an enchanting Disney day!
