“Miss Adventure Falls”, a brand new and exciting white-water rafting adventure opened on March 12th to the delight of visitors at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando. This 4 person waterslide is the perfect way for water lovers of all ages and heights to have a blast. Take an invigorating trip through the tropical waters of the falls on a special raft owned by fabled treasure hunter and oceanographer Captain Mary Oceaneer. The good Captain is searching for her pile of treasures, lost during a bad storm. Navigate the high seas on the longest aquatic ride in history at Typhoon Lagoon (a full two minutes!) while helping out the frantic captain with her precious bounty. Captain Mary’s diving partner, Duncan, an animated talking and singing parrot, keeps guests entertained while he maintains s a keen lookout from his perch on the deck of the shipwreck.
Other fun water attractions and adventures at Typhoon Lagoon for guests of all ages and heights include Castaway Creek, Gangplank Falls, Keelhaul Falls, Mayday Falls, Storm Slides and the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool.
Taller guests will enjoy the excitement of Bay Slides, Crush ‘n’ Gusher, Humunga Kowagunga, and Ketchakiddee Creek.
