STEP 1:
Know your credit score. If you are not sure of your credit rating, check out a free, easy to use website like www.creditkarma.com. You can immediately view your credit score. The higher the score, the better the interest rate, the more you save! Credit scores above 750 are considered Excellent and here is where you will receive the best interest rate for DVC Resale purchases at 9.9% APR. This is extremely competitive and better than most credit cards. If your score is 699 or less then your interest rate is 11.9%. Keep in mind a score of 650 is required. If your score is less than 650 right now, work on improving your payment history and lower high debt balances.
STEP 2:
Apply. When you are ready to move forward and want to purchase a DVC Resale Points Package, complete our one-page credit application. We will notify you immediately of your approval. As long as your credit score is above 650 you automatically qualify for a loan of up to $20,000 to $30,000.
STEP 3:
Shop. Work with your resale agent and find the perfect points package. Make an offer and get excited!
STEP 4:
Choose Your Monthly Payment. Now that you have your contract and purchase price, we will work together to see what monthly payment works best for you. Your down payment will be 20% minimum; however, if you want to lower your payments you can put more down. Since you can finance up to 60 months we can offer low payments easily. Best part – prepay the loan anytime without a penalty.
STEP 5:
Closing. We will work with your agent and licensed title company through the closing process. You will receive your loan documents with your purchasing documents so you can sign everything at once. We will be notified at closing that you are ready and we will send the funds to the title company the same day.
Since we do not charge our buyers Mortgage Recording Fees, you save approximately $400 right here.
STEP 6:
