Mickey Mouse has a very big birthday celebration coming up. On November 18th, the loveable mouse officially turns 90 years old. It was on that date in 1928 when the now classic movie “Steamboat Willie” debuted in theaters across the nation, and the rest is Disney history!
Happy 90th Birthday Mickey Mouse!! Mickey Mouse is one of the most celebrated and beloved cartoon characters in the world. The festivities in honor of Mickey will be held world-wide starting November 16th and some parties will even continue into 2019 as Disney will continue with “World’s Biggest Mouse Party”. From California to Florida and at venues overseas, Disney will celebrate the birth of the world’s favorite animated mouse.
In Florida, gather the gang together and head to Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World to help Mickey celebrate his special day in style! We hear that Mickey and Minnie will be donning brand new confetti-themed outfits for the grand parades and dance parties. Birthday festivities will commence Friday, November 16th and last through Sunday, November 18th. Guests will sing “Happy Birthday” on Main Street USA, attend a dance party in Tomorrowland, and have a blast at the “Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It” Street party. Plenty of themed food, beverages, and cool birthday memorabilia will be available in the theme park.
California is really where Walt Disney and his pal Mickey Mouse got their big break, so Disneyland Resort in Anaheim will be rolling out the red carpet and throwing a very special birthday bash for Mickey and his friends on Sunday, November 18th. The parade will feature inspiring tunes from the Disneyland Bank, starting at “It’s a Small World”, winding by Sleeping Beauty Castle, then the merry band of characters will continue down Main Street USA to a grand finale in Town Square.
