Jogging trails in Walt Disney World Resorts are in abundance and ready to keep you in shape! Aside from all the walking you will do when visiting the theme parks, some visitors will still have the urge to go for a scenic jog or walk along the various pathways and jogging trails throughout the Disney World resort complex. There are plenty of opportunities to keep your feet moving while staying at DVC resort. Just ask your hotel or resort concierge for a copy of the map showing all the jogging trails available in your particular resort area.
If you’re in the Epcot resort area, there are several trails ranging from long loops to quicker runs. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn/Villas, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts/ Villas all have running trails with most taking a great scenic loop around sparkling Crescent Lake. Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels have jogging trails ranging from less than a mile to up to 4 miles. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has a 0.6-mile jogging path with a great view of Barefoot Bay.
Most of the Magic Kingdom Resort area trails wind around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Disney’s Contemporary Resort trail goes around Bay Lake Tower and South Garden Wing. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort are connected by jogging paths that provide a scenic view of the grand wedding pavilion, the lagoon and even provide a stunning view of the Magic Kingdom Park. The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort feature a 2.5-mile trail all through the resort grounds. There’s also a bike path and fitness trail.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort area has two trails. One jogging path connects Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort has a ¾ mile path that loops around Lago Dorado and the scenic wetlands.
The Disney Springs area has several walking/jogging paths. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has a 1.44-mile trail and a 0.89-mile loop that runs along Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and through the resort grounds. Disney’s Old Key West Resort’s path also takes joggers by Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, the Conch Flats, and a tranquil canal. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and French Quarter have a grand promenade that connects the two resorts along the Sassagoula River. Disney’s Pop Century Resort has a 1.1 and 1.38-mile path along Hourglass Lake. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort also winds around Hourglass Lake but features whimsical courtyards highlighting beloved Disney and Pixar movies like Finding Nemo, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Cars.
With so many jogging trails available throughout the Disney complex, there’s no excuse for not staying in shape while on your next dream vacation at Walt Disney World Orlando.
