“Minnie Van” services offered throughout Disney World can now use the LYFT app to send a special whimsically-themed “Minnie” van to your location virtually anywhere in Walt Disney World Resort.  Looking for a private, comfortable and convenient way to get around Walt Disney World? Need a way to get to a dinner reservation, over to one of the theme parks, Disney Springs or other family meeting place?  Look no further than your smartphone!

These special vehicles are painted with bright red and white polka dots and really stand out in the crowd of other vans, shuttles, and buses around Walt Disney World. Each of the Minnie Vans will accommodate up to 6 guests and come equipped with two car seats.  Guests in wheelchairs are able to be accommodated but may experience an increased wait time for transport.  As an added measure of security, all pleasant Minnie Van drivers are trained Disney cast members.

To hail your own Minnie Van, simply download the LYFT app, open the app from any location on Walt Disney World Resort property and make your selection for the type of service required.  Confirm your location, enter a Disney World destination and select REQUEST. Once your request is made, the LYFT app will show a tracking map of your Minnie Van on its way to you.  A unique vehicle number will be assigned and shared with you via the app so you know which Minnie Van transport belongs to your party.  Costs vary depending on pick on and drop off locations; however, the average cost currently is $25.00 per one way trip.

So, the next time you’re on site in the enchanted land of the mouse, utilize the convenient Minnie Van service to whisk you around the park/resort areas.  Minnie Van service hours are subject to change, but typically van rides are available between the hours of 6:30 am and 12:30 am, daily. Disney Resort Club Level guests requiring more exclusive transportation to Orlando International Airport from select Disney resorts have the option of using a Minnie Van instead of Disney’s Magical Express.  Arrangements can be made through the Club Level resort concierge.  (Airport hours are a bit more limited and start at 9 am and run until midnight).
