The process of shopping for a DVC resale can sometimes seem overwhelming, especially if you’re new to it. In a previous post, we’ve reviewed everything you need to know about DVC (INSERT LINK). But for this post, we’re going to let you in on a little secret; shopping for DVC resales all in one place. There are many places you can shop for DVC Resale contracts, thanks to the plethora of Resale Brokerages specializing in Disney Vacation Club. Because of this, it might be difficult to find the best deal without learning who the brokers are, finding them, and reviewing each of their listings. The hassle is switching from site to site trying to compare them; sounds exhausting, right? Well, what if we told you there’s a better way?

Shop For DVC Resales All In One (Unbiased) Place

While trying to find the best deal for one of our employees, we recently came across a website DVCForLess.com. One thing you should know about us, is we’re dazzled by anything with pretty graphics. This website had us hooked from the beginning! The best thing about DVCForLess.com is it pools all of the currently active DVC resale listings into one place. Now you can search for the best deal easily, and save yourself a ton of time (and money)!

Even though there were over 1,300 listings active, we were searching for Polynesian contracts specifically. It’s our favorite resort, and we’re ready to add more points (Bungalow dreams here we come!). We filtered all the listings to show us just the Polynesian contracts so we could review various brokers at once.

There is a lot to look at in the screenshot below, BUT we want to highlight the information we thought was the most useful.

DealScore

One of the most interesting things about DVCForLess.com is the deal score. At a glance, you can see how good or bad of a deal you’d get with any contract up for sale. DVCForLess gets this score by using data from thousands of current, and passed DVC Resale listings, and we liked this feature but it is subject to opinion as I saw a perfect contract but only had two stars so again it’s a data driven opinion.

Points Available

One of the other important columns in this view is the Points Available column. You’ll be able to see how many points you can use this year, as well as future years at a glance. Many buyers might be excited about a point price, then they find out they won’t be able to use any points for the current year, which is definitely a bummer, and a dealbreaker for some.

Age & Alerts

Some DVC resale listings can be sold in less than a day, so the Age column and Alerts are a great way to see how long a listing has been active and get immediate alerts when the type of listing you’re looking for hits the market. When we first started searching for more Polynesian points, we had trouble finding a listing that had points for the current year, and had a good price per point. So, we signed up for alerts, and voila!

Resort Guide

One of the coolest things about the listing information pages is the Resort Guide section. This section shows you room types available at the resort along with room tours, dining options, amenities, photos, videos, reviews, and general pros and cons on the resort. If you’re new to Disney Vacation Club, or just unfamiliar with a specific resort, this section is perfect for giving you quick information on a resort before you pull the trigger on some new DVC points.

The main point of Disney Vacation Club is, well, vacation! So we’re always looking for way to make the “boring” planning processes easier so you can stay focused on having a great time. Currently there are several lower priced options for adding a small 25 point contract but if you’re looking for a larger point contract and don’t wish to part with thousands of dollars this month, consider financing with low monthly payments.
