October 2016 officially marks the 45th<\/sup> anniversary of the grand opening of Walt Disney World\u2019s Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 This happy place opened for fun and adventure in 1971 and has been creating smiles for kids of all ages ever since.\u00a0 What was known as Walt Disney\u2019s \u201cFlorida Project\u201d originally began with the opening of the Magic Kingdom Park, the Contemporary Hotel and the Polynesian Village Hotel.\u00a0 Based upon a similar design as the original California theme park, the Orlando location added a spectacular focal point, the tall and very enchanting Cinderella Castle, drawing visitors to the heart of the park.\u00a0 Liberty Square and the Country Bear Jamboree were also new additions.\u00a0 Since those early years, Walt Disney World has grown in leaps and bounds and continues to be the magnet that attracts visitors to Orlando year-round from all over the world.\u00a0 Walt Disney World is known for excellence in theme parks, water parks, resort hotels, dining, shopping and other recreation activities and Disney World is expected to grow and expand. Plans are underway to debut new attractions and entertainment as the years go by. Here\u2019s wishing the Magic Kingdom Park a very Happy Anniversary!<\/p>\n

Space Mountain \u2013 Ride this wild, indoor roller coaster on an adventure through the darkness of inner space. \u00a0Totally exhilarating!<\/p>\n

Haunted Mansion \u2013 Take a supernatural trip through this spooky estate full of ghosts and spine tingling pipe organ music. Surprises are waiting for you around every creepy corner.<\/p>\n

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- This roller coaster ride on a runaway mine train takes you through the wilderness and through rocky peaks and canyons. Fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n

Main Street U.S.A \u2013 Spend some time shopping and strolling along this old-fashioned street.
