You may have the ability to pay for the whole purchase in cash, especially since you are saving money on the resale market; however, you may not want to.\u00a0 You may not have the full amount in cash today when you spot that perfect package for sale.\u00a0 Either way, we\u2019re here to help unravel the process and explain how easy financing has become.\u00a0 With Vacation Club Loans, we do not charge mortgage recording fees to our buyers thus saving you between $300 -$500 per loan!\u00a0 <\/strong>Here are details on how to\u00a0use DVC financing with less fees to buyers.<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/p>\n

Know your credit score.<\/strong>\u00a0 If you are not sure of your credit rating, check out a free, easy to use website like www.creditkarma.com<\/a>.\u00a0 You can immediately view your credit score.\u00a0 The higher the score, the better the interest rate, the more you save!\u00a0 Credit scores above 750 are considered Excellent and here is where you will receive the best interest rate for DVC Resale purchases at 9.9% APR.\u00a0 This is extremely competitive and better than most credit cards.\u00a0 If your score is 699 or less then your interest rate is 11.9%.\u00a0 Keep in mind a score of 650 is required.\u00a0 If your score is less than 650 right now, work on improving your payment history and lower high debt balances.<\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/p>\n

Apply. <\/strong>\u00a0When you are ready to move forward and want to purchase a DVC Resale Points Package, complete our one-page credit application.\u00a0 We will notify you immediately of your approval.\u00a0 As long as your credit score is above 650 you automatically qualify for a loan of up to $20,000 to $30,000.<\/p>\n

STEP 3:<\/p>\n

Shop. <\/strong>\u00a0Work with your resale agent and find the perfect points package.\u00a0 Make an offer and get excited!<\/p>\n

STEP 4:<\/p>\n

Choose Your Monthly Payment.<\/strong>\u00a0 Now that you have your contract and purchase price, we will work together to see what monthly payment works best for you.\u00a0 Your down payment will be 20% minimum; however, if you want to lower your payments you can put more down. Since you can finance up to 60 months we can offer low payments easily.\u00a0 Best part \u2013 prepay the loan anytime without a penalty.<\/p>\n

STEP 5:<\/p>\n

Closing. <\/strong>\u00a0We will work with your agent and licensed title company through the closing process.\u00a0 You will receive your loan documents with your purchasing documents so you can sign everything at once.\u00a0 We will be notified at closing that you are ready and we will send the funds to the title company the same day.<\/p>\n
