When\ninterest rates drop you should consider refinancing to shorten the term of your\nDVC mortgage and pay significantly less in interest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vacation Club Loans is offering\na guaranteed 10.99% rate<\/strong> for any transferred loan either from\nDisney Vacation Development directly or one that was financed through another\nlender on the resale market.&nbsp; Loans over\n$10,000 can be paid back over 84 months (7 years) while loans under $10,000 can\nbe paid back over 60 months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Disney\u2019s official site<\/strong> their offered rates for direct purchases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Credit Status, Down Payment\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Interest Rate<\/strong><\/li><li>Premium,        20% down\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0  \u00a0\u00a0  9.99%<\/li><li>Preferred,      20% down\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0  12.00% <\/li><li>Preferred,       10% down\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 14.50%<\/li><li>Standard,        10% down\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0     17.50%<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In order to qualify for the 10.99% APR with Vacation Club Loans, owners must possess a 600 FICO score or better.\u00a0<\/strong> That\u2019s the only requirement for the guaranteed rate.\u00a0 The deed and ownership do not change; however, new taxes and fees must be paid to the country the property is located in.\u00a0 For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.occompt.com\/official-records\/\">Orange County,<\/a> FL (Orlando) based on the new mortgage loan so a fee of $300.00 will be due.\u00a0 Vacation Club Loans is not charging a loan origination fee to refinance for a limited time.\u00a0 The $300 to the County will be paid at closing and can be rolled into the new loan if you like; transferring your loan takes approximately 14 days to refinance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vacationclubloans.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Polynesian-bungalows-2-1024x611.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8071\"\/><figcaption><em>Disney&#8217;s Polynesian Villas &#8211; photo by Vacation Club Loans<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Lori Fuhr recently refinanced and here\u2019s her advice: <em>\u201cI refinanced my DVC  due to my direct rate being 12% and on 2 contracts the interest over 10 years was very high.\u00a0 I emailed VCL requesting info and I was signing the contacts the next day.\u00a0 I even requested a breakdown of the monetary difference between a refi and just paying more towards  the principal on my direct loan and got it back within an hour.\u00a0 It was a no brainer for us.\u00a0 Wonderful experience from start to finish.\u00a0\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s\nHow It Works to refinance an existing DVC loan with higher\ninterest: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 1:\u00a0 Get your payoff amount from Disney direct or other resale lenders plus 15 days of added interest.\u00a0 For example, if today is March 1<sup>st<\/sup> then call and get your payoff as of March 15<sup>th<\/sup>. \u00a0This gives you time to complete and return your new loan documents and gives Disney time to process the check from Vacation Club Loans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 2: <strong>Fill out the s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vacationclubloans.com\/apply-now\/\">ecured credit application<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where the application asks \u201cEnter broker or sales agent\u2019s name\u201d:\u00a0 type in <strong><em>Refinancing DVC<\/em><\/strong> to get the 10.99% interest rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 3: Once we have prepared your loan documents, we will send them to you.
